To Whom it May Concern,
The NCDOT and their Contractor, S.T. Wooten Corporation, plan to close SR 1144
(Forman Bundy Road )at the Pasquotank / Perquimans County Line approximately 0.7
Miles West of SR 1303 (Cherry Glade Road) and 0.5 Miles East of SR 1224 (Chapanoke
Road). The purpose of this closure is to remove the existing structure built in 1960 and
replace with a new cored slab bridge. This closure will begin at sunrise Monday,
December 04, 2017, with completion expected by Friday, March 23, 2018. Barricades
and signs will be placed to advise the traveling public of the closure. This project will
have no official signed detour therefore I have attached a vicinity map with two
alternate routes, each approximately 7.2 miles in length. Please feel free to distribute
