Brooks, many thanks for your prompt and thorough inspection. I concur with
Chris on adding the sketch to the file. Chris, once you get the sketch from
Brooks, can you follow up with Mr. Green to let him know that we have checked
this out and everything is in order? Again, thanks to both of you for your
work on this. Tracy

Greetings To All,
I inspected the Bamboo Road Quarry, 95-03, on August 29. 1 spoke to
Marty and Bill Cecil about the set-up and the location of the
seismograph and they provided the following information:
1. The seismograph is actually set up and run by the powder company
they use. So the Cecils don't actually do the monitoring. I though I
remembered them previously indicating to me that they had their own, and
they may, but their monitoring is done by their powder company.
2. The seismograph is set up outside of their lab when a shot is
pulled. The lab is located along Bamboo Road approximately 3601 from
the face currently being worked. The lab is the closest building to the
blasting and is in the general direction of the building owned by Dennis
Green, which is over 10001 from the quarry. The location of the
seismograph would be apprximately 7751 from Mr. Green's building.
If you guys feel like it is needed I will be glad to provide a sketch of
the lay out and location of all structures in question. I measured
these distances with the rangefinder and confirmed them with a scale off
the mine map. Let me know if you need any additional information.
Thanks! Brooks Cole
