The only paper work will be the DMR reporting as required by the NCG030000 General Permit for semi-annual
sampling. However, it would be very helpful if you can give me an estimated latitude and longitude coordinate for each
of those discharge points you described. Right now I've just put them both at the approximate facility location in our
system (see bottom of my email).
One way you can do this is to go to Google Maps (maps.google.com) and search the address of the facility. Zoom into
the map, and right -click in the area (just approximately) where each of these points is. Choose the "What's here?"
option, just like below. You should see a box appear with coordinates for that point you chose. It will be in decimal
degrees — that's fine. Just send me the coordinates for each. Thank you!

I do have a couple of spots that I can sample. It would be closest to the main road (Old Lenoir Road) where all of the downspouts
converge into one area. It will be on the front corner of the property. I have another area on the back side of the building where
the downspouts converge into a drain in the parking area.
I'm not sure what you would like me to title them. Will you let me know? Also, do I need to complete any other paperwork for you?

Chris,
Waste container exposure will preclude a No Exposure exclusion, unfortunately.
Stormwater "discharge outfalls" are going to be the points at which the drainage flows into the street/city drainage or
exits the property. Is there a place to sample at the edge of the property where all this runoff merges? The outfall(s)
are the places where industrial stormwater discharges either leave the property at a low spot, pipe, or other conveyance
(culvert or ditch, for example), or enter directly into a surface water (if the stream goes through the middle of the
property). Typically outfalls are not the individual downspouts because all those flows converge before they leave the
area and eventually flow to surface waters.
Looking at the site map you provided with the NOI, I would expect discharge points to be somewhere near the roadway,
and/or near where Frye Creek borders the property. These are just guesses —you'll need to walk the property to
identify your outfall points. If there is no confined point that is practical to sample, then we can look at some of the
downspouts as appropriate representative sample points.

It may help to have someone from the regional office help identify outfall points with you if you are unsure of where to
sample.

Good afternoon.
I took a few more pics of the outfalls on the east side of our building (see example attached). The outfalls are simply downspouts
that empty into our parking lot and then flow into the street/city drainage.
Can you tell if this is what you are looking for? If either of them had any potential of going into Frye Creek it would be the
downspouts which are furthest from the street. It looks like I may not be able to cover all of our open top waste containers so we
couldn't meet the No Exposure requirements unless you have some ideas on how we could. I've sent James Moore an email
explaining our situation, but I haven't heard anything back.
Can you tell me what other information you need and I'll get it to you. Since we are ISO 14001-2015 certified it's a requirement that
we comply with all the regulations. This is new to us so we want to make sure we have everything covered.

I am getting the paperwork together for your COC under NCG030000, and I just need to take of a few things in our
database before sending the permit package out to you. I see on the NOI form you note 35 downspouts for the number
of stormwater outfalls — wow, that's a lot of outfalls! You probably won't need to sample that many points.
Can you tell me which points would be considered discharges either from your facility property or directly into waters (if
they are on the property)? These are what would be considered stormwater outfalls.
