Hello Andrea,
We plan to minimize sedimentation, in this non -pump around scenario, by placing deflection "flow' rocks upstream of
our work area to divert direct flow from hitting our work area. We will of course button everything up same working day
that we disturb it. The rootwad excavation areas will get the flow rocks placed upstream as well to keep direct flows
from hitting our trenching areas.
I hope you are doing well!

Hi Adam,
I'm reviewing the Cove Creek PCN. As you and I talked about earlier, there are hellbenders downstream; so
I'm going to make my standard recommendations about avoiding large shelter rocks and moving any animals
found. It looks like you'll be installing a lot of instream structures, and as this is a big system, there is no way
to pump around. How can you minimize sediment liberation during structure installation? I'm wondering in
particular about tie-ins to the banks & root wads.
Andrea
