Chad - I just met with our stormwater folks to discuss Chonticha's comments on the stormwater design, and they have decided to redesign the stormwater plans to provide detention on the southern side of the site. They are bit backed up with their workload right now and plan to get to this the week of Feb. 12. Assuming they can finish their design and calcs by the end of that week, I should be able to get you the requested information by the end of the 30 -day period (Feb. 23). -Kelly From: Mcdaniel, Chonticha [mailto:chonticha.mcdaniel@ncdenr.gov] Sent: Thursday, January 25, 2018 12:31 PM To: Roth, Kelly <roth@mcadamsco.com> Cc: Turlington, Chad <chad.turlington@ncdenr.gov> Subject: RE: [External] RE: Aberdeen Transmission Headquarters Kelly, Here are the information we need that I cannot find in the report: 1) A discussion on how the project will not cause degradation of downstream surface waters when considering the volume and velocity of the increased flows and the current size/condition of the receiving stream. 2) Calculations to show that flow (cfs) from every discharge point will be non-erosive to both the land surface and the receiving stream during the peak flow from the 10 -year storm event. 3) Calculations to demonstrate that for any discharge points proposed to increase flow rates and volume, the structural stability of the receiving stream will not be compromised. 4) Designed drawings (both aerial and profile views showing the actual designed dimensions) and detailed calculations of any proposed detention system (i.e. level spreaders). Any vegetated conveyances (if provided) should also be depicted on the drawings. I hope this help. Let me know if you have more questions. Thank you! Chad - Our stormwater folks have prepared the attached Stormwater Impact Analysis for this project. Before I send hardcopies, can you please tell me whether this SIA has a sufficient level of detail for your needs? If not, could you please let me know what information is missing and/or provide an example of a stormwater management plan with the appropriate level of detail? Thank you. -Kelly From: Turlington, Chad[mailto:chad.turlington@ncdenr.gov] Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2018 2:30 PM To: Roth, Kelly <roth@mcadamsco.com> Cc: 'Lastinger, James C CIV USARMY CESAW (US)' <James.C.Lastinger@usace.army.mil>; Mcdaniel, Chonticha <chonticha.mcdaniel@ncdenr.gov> Subject: Aberdeen Transmission Headquarters Please see attached Request for Additional Information.
