Credit Release— Task 7
Dear Mr. Hutton:
On January 16, 2018, the Division of Water Resources (DWR) received confirmation from
Wildlands Holdings II, LLC (WHII) that the conservation easement for the North Fork Little
River Mitigation Bank has been successfully assigned to Unique Places to Save. Unique Places
to Save is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and has been approved by DWR as a long-term
steward for this mitigation bank.
According to the MBI, signed on April 19, 2016, the following Project Milestones have been met,
and the corresponding credits shall be released:

7) Item (B) (1) of Section IX in the Instrument (assignment of Conservation 5%
Easement) has been completed and approved by DWR
By copy of this correspondence, DWR confirms that you have fully satisfied the above requirements
for the above -referenced tract and 5% of your Neuse riparian buffer credits (0.05 x 605,484 ft2 =
30,274.2 ft) are now available for sale. Additionally, 5% of your Nitrogen nutrient offset credits
(0.05 x 41,619 lb -N = 2,080.95 lb -N) and 5% of your Phosphorous nutrient offset credits (0.05 x
2,680.58 lb -P = 134.03 lb -P) are now available to sell.
Please note that nutrient offset credits generated at this site must be used for impacts in HUC
03020201 of the Upper and Lower Falls Watersheds as defined in 15A NCAC 02B .0276 within
the Neuse River Basin. Additionally, the riparian buffer credits must be used for impacts in
the Neuse River Basin according to guidelines in the Consolidated Buffer Mitigation Rule, 15A
NCAC 02B.0295, which became effective on November 1, 2015.
