Brandon Buchanan and Mark Teague (ORC & BORC, respectively — Environmental Inc), and John Impagliatelli (Maintenance Director) assisted with the inspection and facility review. The facility appeared well maintained and in compliance with Permit NC0075612. The facility had recently completed major construction upgrades prior to the inspection. All components were installed and available for inspection. The plant had not yet been seeded and started operation however. The upgraded facility maintains the same permitted flow rate (0.05 MGD) as the previous package plant. The new facility includes a 35,000 -gallon treatment unit, 8,750 -gallon EQ basin, two 17,500 -gallon aeration basins, and one rectangular secondary clarifier as primary components.
