Hudson, Executive Director Onslow Water and Sewer Authority 228 Georgetown Road Jacksonville, NC 28540 Subject: Change -Page to Correct Error NPDES Permit NCO083551 Onslow Water and Sewer Authority Dixon Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Onslow County Dear Mr. Hudson. The Division of Water Resources (the Division) became aware of an error in your recently issued permit (effective January 1, 2018). A review of North Carolina Statute 15A NCAC 02B .0505(c)(3)(A) noted that instream monitoring should utilize grab samples while effluent samples should consist of composite samples. Accordingly, we hereby forward the modified permit pages to amend your permit changing sample type to grab for upstream and downstream monitoring for salinity and conductivity and have removed the compliance schedule, formerly footnote #3 Please insert these change pages into your existing permit and discard the old pages We regret any inconvenience this causes your organization. Please note that this permit is not transferable except after notice to the Division. The Division may require modification or revocation and reissuance of the permit. This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which may be required by the Division of Water Resources or any other Federal, State, or Local governmental permits that may be required. If you have questions, or if we can be of further service, please contact Bnanna Young at bnanna.young@ncdenr.gov or call (919) 807-6333.
