The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is providing the attached revised
Interim Monitoring Plan (IMP) for the Allen Steam Station. After submitting the revised IMPS
for the 14 coal ash facilities in December 2017, the DEQ and Duke Energy had identified some
errors that require submission of the revised IMP for the Allen Steam Station. This IMP, dated
January 3, 2018, shall supersede the IMP dated December 20, 2017.
