There were no specimens of harperella observed during an on-site visit on July 19, 2017. There is potentially suitable habitat for smooth coneflower (Echinacea laevigata) but no specimens are located within 1.0 mile of the site according the NCNHP data dated April, 2017. The closest current specimen is 3 miles to the north. No specimens were found during a site visit on July 19, 2017. 6. Essential Fish Habitat (Corps Requirement) 6a.
