Annual Avg Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Desi n/Future: 1970 Year: 2037 Existin : 1091 Year: 2017 General Project Narrative: The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has proposed to replace the bridge No. 11 on NC 308 that crosses over Mackeys Creek. The proposed two lane (Description of Minimization of Water structure is a multiple span bridge with five spans (5@60') 24" precast concrete cored slab with 4' end bent caps. The proposed bridge will not have deck drains. Mackeys Quality Impacts) Creek is a Coastal AE Flood Zone and non-encroachment widths are not established. Regulatory floodways are delineated on the FIRM and flood profiles have not been developed. This structure has been designed to have as little environmental and surface water impacts as possible. Velocities at jurisdictional features and wetlands are non- erosive with velocities under 2 feet per second.
