WBS # 17BP.7.R.104 The North Carolina Department of Transportation proposes to replace Bridge No. 283 on SR 2686 (Richardson Drive) over Little Troublesome Creek in Rockingham County. Little Troublesome Creek is in the Cape Fear River basin. From the project, this stream flows approximately 7 miles until converging with the Haw River. The federally endangered Roanoke logperch (Percina rex) and James spinymussel (Pleurobema collina) are listed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) as potentially occurring in Rockingham County. This project is located in the Cape Fear River basin. Roanoke logperch and James spinymussel have never been found in this basin. Therefore, this project will have no effect on Roanoke logperch and James spinymussel. Biological Conclusions: No Effect for Roanoke logperch and James spinymussel for WBS # 17BP.7.R.104
