Part of the monitoring network for CU1003. These wells were originally defined as sentinel wells due to their location relative to the mine. Plant Test Wells Castle Hayne Aquifer Wells installed by Texasgulf when the mine was first opened, used for monitoring only (water level and chlorides). Part of the monitoring network for CU1003. These wells were originally defined as plant test wells due to their location relative to the chemical plants. WMS Wells Castle Hayne Aquifer Wells installed by Texasgulf used for monitoring only. Required for NPDES Permit WQ N00003255 water quality monitoring. Utility Wells Castle Hayne Aquifer Wells production wells used for public water supply and manufacturing activities. Water level and chlorides are monitoried for CU1003 and water quality for Potable Wells. Deep Wells Castle Hayne Aquifer depressurization Wells. Inactive Deep Wells Inactive Castle Hayne Aquifer depressurization Wells. Please contact me if you have questions about this information. Thanks.
