Hon,
I've reviewed your application for the replacement of Bridge No. 72 in Lenoir County
and will need the following additional information before I can finish processing your
request:
1. The roadside ditch feature on the Wayne County side in the NW quadrant was
identified as a relocated jurisdictional stream during the field scoping meeting
held on March 17, 2016. This feature needs to be shown on the plan sheets and
any impacts to the feature quantified.
2. There are existing ditches in all quadrants. Will these ditches need to be
relocated? If so, this needs to be shown on the plan sheets along with
ditch/swale profiles. This information needs to also be provided in the swale
page of the Stormwater Management Plan. If ditches are being relocated, an
attempt should be made to provide treatment in the form of 3:1 sloped swales
at 100 linear feet per acre drainging to that swale line.
3. Buffer impacts are shown extending out to a PDE line. Can these be reduced?
