Annual Avg Daily Traffic (vehlhrlday): Desi n/Future: 63150 Year: 2018 Existin : 70975 Year: 2038 General Project Narrative: State Project U-4405 consists of roadway improvements to 5.82 Miles of Raeford Road in Fayetteville, NC. The surrounding land use consists of a highly developed, urbanized (Description of Minimization of Water area that contains commercial, residential, and school areas. Roadside and median ditches will be replaced with a curb and gutter system throughout the project. The Quality Impacts) proposed storm drainage systems will maintain existing drainage patterns and route runoff to natural outfalls. There are four major structures that will be extended and one energy dissipator utilized to minimize water quality impacts. Supplemental pipes will be added to the major crossing extensions to meet FEMA MOA requirements. Stilling basins will be utilized to install the supplemental pipes and major structure extensions. Erosion control devices such as silt fence, rock inlet sediment traps, slope drains, clean water diversions, and silt bags will also be utilized to minimize water quality impacts.
