Good morning,
Hope you are both doing well this morning! Thank you for circling back with us on our request to revise the specific
language of the Conditions #2 and #3 laid out in the Conetoe II Buffer Authorization. The following has been attached:
• Original Buffer Authorization (DWR #14-1188 v2)
• Updated Wet Swale Exhibits with the revised conditional language for Condition #2
Language shown on the attached exhibits to be utilized for Condition # 2 states:
All wetland swales depicted on the site plans (EX1.0 and EX2.0 by Timmons Group dated September 12, 2017) are to be
designed and constructed based upon recommended professional guidelines such as research on wetland swales
provided by N.C. State University and Virginia DCR design specifications on wet swales.
In addition, for the language in Condition #3:
"have included plans to provide that a stormwater management facility is installed to control nitrogen and attenuate
flow before the conveyance discharges through the riparian buffer".
