Dear Mr. Helms:
On July 14, 2017, the Division issued a Notice of Violation (NOV) against Speedway LLC — Speedway
#6973. The NOV was based upon a violation of the reporting requirement by failing to submit a discharge
monitoring report (DMR) for March 2012, September 2012, December 2012, January 2013, April 2013,
May 2013, June 2013, January 2014, and February 2014. Subsequent to your receipt of the NOV, Chuck
Hoffman with Mid -Atlantic Associates contacted the Division. A file review indicated that Speedway
LLC was not the owner of the facility at the time the above DMRs were due for submission.
Since Speedway LLC was not the owner at the time the above DMRs were due for submission for
Speedway #6973 (NC0087912), I have withdrawn the NOVs against Speedway LLC — Speedway #6973
for the cited violations and directed that the records of these violations be removed from our files.
