Recent intense storm events caused flooding and many EC measures were blown out including those at waste pit/slope sites. Given the weather conditions, DOT staff/contractors are doing the best they can, but much more needs to be done. I agreed with Todd and Tim Latham (NCDMLR) that the project should not resume operations until EC measures are repaired/installed and JS areas cleaned as directed by Roadside staff, NCDMLR and myself. Greg Johnston, DOT on-site project engineer representative, agreed. A few pictures are attached (Site 10 inlet picture is Station 346 RT per Todds attached report). Dave W.
