Moore ( Supervisor, Aquatic Toxicology Branch (ATB) From: Carol Hollenkamp � Quality Assurance Officer, Aquatic Toxicology Branch (ATB) Subject: Whole effluent toxicity test results Durafiber NPDES Permit # NC0004944/001 Rowan County The aquatic toxicity test using flow -proportional composite samples of effluent discharged from the Durafiber has been completed. Durafiber has a permitted effluent discharge of 2.305 million gallons per day (MGD) entering North Second Creek (7Q10 of 6.9 CFS) Whole effluent samples were collected on October 10 and October 12 by Roberto Scheller for use in a chronic Cenodaphnia dubia pass -fail toxicity test. The test passed. Toxicity test information follows.
