These three (3) sections of stream bank were washed away during hurricane Mathew endangering existing
sewer infrastructure as well as an existing warehouse used foragricultural purposes.

The purpose of the project is to stabilize the stream banks to protect the existing infrastructure and prevent
further erosion.

The bank will be stabilized using a mixture of rip rap, vegetation and sheet piles (Tar River only). This work
will be completed from land with the use of excavators, dozers and dump trucks.
