Ms. Karoly: Please find herewith, a PCN Application and supporting documentation for the above referenced project. The 37.51 acre project site is located off of Burlington Mills Road in Rolesville, North Carolina. The site will consist of a middle school with associated drives and parking with three athletic fields. The bus loop access drive will perpendicularly cross one wedand area, another access drive to the multi-field will perpendicularly cross a buffer and wedand area, and there will be a utility and foot bridge perpendicularly crossing a buffer and wedand area, Handicap accessibility will require some fill in Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the buffer with the foot bridge spanning most of the Zone 1 buffer at the utility crossing, Stormwater from the site was directed toward the natural drainage ways as much as possible according to the existing contour information. Level Spreaders will be used to provide diffuse flow for discharge points toward the Neuse Buffer area. Pipe slopes were minimized at discharge points toward the central wedand area to keep velocities under 2,0 ft/ see, The information has also been sent to the US Army Corps of Engineers, If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact our office.
