Typical Cross Section Description: 2- 11' asphalt paved lanes with 2' paved shoulders, 6' grass shoulders. Roadway 2- 10' asphalt paved lanes with grass shoulders. Wetlands are present in the
transitions from super to normal crown as you progress down the alignment. Also southeast quadrent of the project and a non-jurisditional pond is present in the
relocated soil drive to -L- 19+71.75 from 19+25 on the right. northwest quadrent of the project.

General Project Narrative: State project 17BP.3.R.53 involves the replacement of Sampson County Bridge # 810148 on SR 1434 (Huntley School Rd.) over Mill Swamp. The existing bridge consists of 1
(Description of Minimization of Water @ 17' - 9" and 1@ 17' - 7" Reforced concrete deck on timber joists and timber piles and is to be replaced with a 1@ 40' - 0" and 1@ 45'-0", 21" cored slab bridge (85' total
Quality Impacts) length, 33' total width) at the same location.
The proposed bridge does not contain deck drains, all storm water from the bridge and approaches will be collected by a storm drainage system and discharged into a Class
"B" rip-rap pad at -L- 19+36 on the right.
There are no proposed ditches on this project.
