Annual Avg Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Design/Future: 700 Year: 2032 Existing: 350 Year: 2012 General Project Narrative: State project 17BP.3.R.53 involves the replacement of Sampson County Bridge # 810148 on SR 1434 (Huntley School Rd.) over Mill Swamp. The existing bridge consists of 1 (Description of Minimization of Water @ 17' - 9" and 1@ 17' - 7" Reforced concrete deck on timber joists and timber piles and is to be replaced with a 1@ 40' - 0" and 1@ 45'-0", 21" cored slab bridge (85' total Quality Impacts) length, 33' total width) at the same location. The proposed bridge does not contain deck drains, all storm water from the bridge and approaches will be collected by a storm drainage system and discharged into a Class "B" rip-rap pad at -L- 19+36 on the right. There are no proposed ditches on this project.
