The purpose of this project is to replace a structural deficient and/or obsolete timber bridge with a modern
crossing structure.

I Erosion Controls will be installed and a temporary culvert roadway installed immediately downstream of the old
bridge. The old bridge will be removed with track-hoe and the new aluminum box culvert assembled and installed
in the old bridge I;ocation.

The minimum length culvert necessary was designed. And the new culvert will be on the same locations as the old
bridge.

Excavation areas will be isolated from flowing water to reduce downstream sedimentation. Particular attention to
sediment and erosion controls will be used on the project due to the sensitive resources that are known to occur
far downstream of the site.
