The existing pipes are deteriorating and the headwalls (Description of Minimization of Water are failing to the point of disrepair. A blow hole is present at the outlet of the existing structure. The proposed design calls to replace the 2@ 96" CMP with 2@ 108" Aluminum Quality Impacts) Structural Plate with headwall and endwall. The proposed structure low flow barrel will be buried 1' below the existing stream bed and the high flow barrel will have a 1.5' sill to promote flow through the low flow barrel. Interior baffles are also provided to promote sedimentation within the barrels during low flow events. Bank stabilization is added at the inlet and outlet of the structure to stabilize the existing banks and promote vegitation growth along the banks. Class II rip rap is placed at the toe of the outlet for the proposed structure to dissipate energy at the existing blow hole. All natural, existing drainage patterns are maintained for the proposed roadway. No drainage structures are required.
