October 30, 2017. Enclosed are three completed sets of the application

respect to local landmarks such as towns, rivers, and roads.

2. Provide a detailed site plan showing property boundaries and proposed locations of
vegetation clearing, buildings, retaining walls, docks, impervious surfaces, rip rap, excavation
or dredging below Full Pond/ Normal Water Level elevations, and construction access
corridors. You may use the diagram provided at the end of this application form. *See
Attachment 2 -This is an annotated aerial photo which shows the proposed scope of rip rap
work as well as the property boundaries for Lot # 8. Only shoreline building is the existing
boathouse and dock; project scope does not include any of the other subjective topics.
3. Attach a photograph of the shoreline/ buffer proposed to be stabilized. (Include a scale of some
sort- a yard stick, shovel handle, etc.) *See Attachment 3 - it is 5 photographs depicting shoreline
erosion. The proposed scope of work starts approximately 85 feet west of the boat
house/dock on the property's south side proceeding to the east and continuing to the
east side of the property for a total placement of approximately 475 linear feet of rip
rap as required to ensure long term shoreline stabilization.

undeveloped, etc.): Residential lot w/a boat dock/boat house and a 2 bedroom 2 bath 2 car
garage apartment under construction.
6. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided,
or why it is necessary): Install - 475 linear feet of rip rap to stabilize significant erosion that has
been occurring for many years, perhaps the entire life of Hyco Lake. Impact of the erosion is
pictorially captured in the pictures included under B. 3. Above.
