This is a courtesy notification that NCDOT will be replacing 3 pipes in jurisdictional areas
in Gates County under Nationwide Permit 3 conditions. Locations are on UT’s to Mill
Dam Creek, Stream Index No. 30-3-13-3-(2), Pasquotank River Basin.

Pipe 1: Existing 18" X 40' RCP will be replaced by a 24" X 40' CAP at N 36.51245° W
76.76811°. On UT to Hackley Swamp (Hacklan Branch), Stream Index No. 25-12-7-1,
Chowan River Basin.
Pipe 2: Existing 24" X 80' RCP will be replaced by a 30" X 80' CAP at N 36.49204° W
76.76854°. On UT to Buckland Mill Branch, Stream Index No. 25-12-7-2, Chowan River
Basin.
Pipe 2: Existing 18" X 40' RCP will be replaced by a 24" X 40' CAP at N 36.47013° W
76.76022°. On UT to Cole Creek (Lilleys Millpond), Stream Index No. 25-12-7, Chowan
River Basin.
