I've reviewed your request for shoreline stabilization on Charles Creek. Water Quality
General Certification No. 4087 corresponds to the Corps NW 13 permit and applies to
this activity (DWR project # 20171195). Written approval is not required for use of this
certification provided all the thresholds and conditions can be met. If any of these
cannot be met, written approval may be required. Please note that any impacts to
coastal wetlands triggers written approval for use of GC 4087. Thanks and let me know

Subject: Courtesy Notification for Shoreline Stabilization on SR 1164 Southern Avenue in
Pasquotank County
This is a courtesy notification that NCDOT will be stabilizing a shoreline in Pasquotank
County under Nationwide Permit 13 conditions. Location is on Charles Creek, Stream
Index No. 30-3-11, Pasquotank River Basin. The location is within an AEC, and under
DCM's jurisdiction. A CAMA General permit has been issued, and a copy is attached.
Total of 115 linear feet of shoulder will be stabilized at two sites with Class B stone at N
36.29300° W 76.21756°, as shown in the attached permit drawings.
