Insufficient volume was available for reanalysis therefore data has been flagged and reported. Data Flags & Calculations: Any analytical tests or individual analytes within a test flagged with a Qualifier indicate a deviation from the method quality system or quality control requirement. The qualifier description is found at the end of the Certificate of Analysis (sample results) under the qualifiers heading. All results are reported on a dry weight basis unless otherwise noted. Subcontracted data included on the Duke Certificate of Analysis is to be used as information only. Certified vendor results can be found in the subcontracted lab final report. Duke Energy Analytical Laboratory subcontracts analyses to other vendor laboratories that have been qualified by Duke Energy to perform these analyses except where noted. Data Package: This data package includes analytical results that are applicable only to the samples described in this narrative. An estimation of the uncertainty of measurement for the results in the report is available upon request. This report shall not be reproduced, except in full, without the written consent of the Analytical Laboratory. Please contact the Analytical laboratory with any questions. The order of individual sections within this report is as follows: Job Summary Report, Sample Identification, Technical Validation of Data Package, Analytical Laboratory Certificate of Analysis, Analytical Laboratory QC Reports, Sub-contracted Laboratory Results, Customer Specific Data Sheets, Reports & Documentation, Customer Database Entries, Test Case Narratives, Chain of Custody (COC) Certification: The Analytical Laboratory holds the following State Certifications : North Carolina (DENR) Certificate #248, South Carolina (DHEC) Laboratory ID # 99005. Preparation or preservation holding time was exceeded N/A indicates that spike recovery limits do not apply when sample concentration exceeds spike conc. by a factor of 4 or more or %RPD not applicable. ^ The Relative Percent Difference (RPD) obtained from the sample duplicate (DUP) is evaluated against the acceptance criteria when the sample is greater than five times (5X) the contract required detection limit (RL). In cases where either the sample or duplicate value is less than 5X the RL, a control limit of +/- the RL is used to evaluate the DUP result. * Indicates that a Quality Control parameter was not within specifications. Data Summary: All sample data provided in this report met the acceptance criteria specified in the analytical methods and procedures for initial calibration, continuing calibration, instrument controls and process controls where applicable, with the following exceptions. Quality Control (QC) Information Duplicate Relative Percent Difference (RPD) Statement The RPD obtained from the designated sample duplicate (DUP) is evaluated based on acceptance criteria of 20% when the sample is >5X the contract required reporting limit (RL). In cases where either the sample or duplicate value is less than 5X the RL, a control of +/-RL is used to evaluate the DUP results. Not all the applicable analyte RPD values were within the acceptance criteria.
