There are four major structures that will be extended and one energy dissipater utilized to minimize water quality impacts. Supplemental pipes will be added to the major crossing extensions to meet FEMA MOA requirements. Stilling basins will be utilized to install the supplemental pipes and major structure extensions. The use of 3:1 slopes in jurisdictional areas when practicable. 1b. Specificallydescribe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques:* I Erosion control devices such as silt fence, rock inlet sediment traps, slope drains, clean water diversions, and silt bags will also be utilized to minimize water quality impacts.
