� There are no National Register-listed or Study Listed properties within the project's area of
potential effects.

Description of review activities, results, and conclusions:
Review of HPO quad maps, relevant background reports, historic designations roster, and indexes was
undertaken on January 18, 2017. Based on this review there are no NR, DE, LL, SL, or SS in the project
area. There is one house in the study area of this project which was constructed in 1932; however is it
almost 1,000 feet from the project and will not be impacted by the bridge replacement project.
Edgecombe County Bridge No. 86, constructed in 1922, does not exemplify any distinctive
engineering or aesthetic type and is not eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. No
historic properties will be affected by this project.
