I’ve reviewed your application for the replacement of Bridge # 30 in Beaufort County,
TIP B-5620. There are a couple of things I need before I can finish processing your
request.
1. Due to the extensive fill sections in wetlands on this project, it is requested that
cross-sectional profiles be provided.
2. In order to meet the diffuse flow requirements of the Tar-Pamlico Buffer Rules
\[(15A NCAC 2B .0259(5)(a)\] please provide a dissipater pad at the outlet of the
18”RCP stormwater discharge outfall. Please keep the footprint to a minimum
to reduce impacts in coastal wetlands and provide a detail of the outlet pad on
the plan sheet. This decision has been made after consultation with DCM.
