The existing bridge is 1@ 17', 1@18' timber deck on timber beams with timber piles and vertical timber abutments. No deck Quality Impacts) drains will be used on the structure, reducing stream pullution associated with roadway runoff. Additional measures implemented to reduce impacts to the stream and surrounding properties include, maintaining exsting drainge patterns, using 3:1 fill slopes and discharging stormwater runoff as far away from the stream as is practicable. Further, rip rap is used at drainage outlets to dissipate energy and reduce erosion.
