Erosion has eaten away at an area on the stream bank and to prevent future damage MSE living walls will be employed. The project will include tree removal, removal and replacement of existing greenway sidewalk affected by erosion, the installation of the MSE living wall and all excavation and backfill necessary to accomplish the aforementioned activities. The stream bank will be restored to the original location to avoid increased erosion up and downstream of the project location. The bank stabilization will be with vegetated grow socks for a soft natural bank face instead of hard-scaping with rock. b. A coffer damn and pump will be used to ensure work is performed outside of the flow of the stream. Only vegetation in the immediate work area will be disturbed.
