Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used: Replacement of an existing 105-foot, 25-foot long multi-span bridge with a single span, 130-ft long x 30-ft wide concrete bridge on SR 2002 (Tobe Bridge Road) in Cleveland County. NCDOT proposes to place a total of 66 feet of rip rap for bank stabilization under Bridge #31 and along the upstream banks where older concrete abutments will be removed. A total of 56 feet of temporary impacts will occur due to causeway impacts from ebsting bridge removal. Areas affected by temporary impacts will be restored to pre-project conditions.
