The existing bridges carries SR 1105 Old Middlesex Road over Haw Branch between SR 1108 Stone Heritage Road and SR 1100 Camp Charles Road. The proposed structure for Bridge #630103 is a 2@56.3’ 21" cored slab with 2.5' caps. The proposed alignment is at the same location as the existing alignment. There are wetlands located within the project limits. STORMWATER CONTROLS: . The proposed bridge does not utilize deck drains. Runoff from the bridge roadway and paved shoulders at the bridge approaches drains into inlets. The stormwater is then diffused at a riprap pad outlet prior to discharging into Haw Branch. Shoulders will be grassed except on the proposed bridges and their approaches. Bank Stabilization is planned to prevent erosion of the streambanks.MOFFATT &NICHOLNorth Carolina Department of TransportationHighway Stormwater Program STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLANFOR NCDOT PROJECTSProject Type:NCDOT CENTURY CENTERAddress:General Project InformationB-5668WBS Element:Bridge ReplacementWBS Element:JEFF RECK,P.E.NCDOT Contact:(252) 237-61644700 FALLS OF THE NEUSE RD, SUITE 300RALEIGH, NC 27609Contractor / Designer:(919) 781-4626tccoggins@ncdot.govRALEIGH NC 27610Address:9/25/2017NashBaileyChad Coggins1020 BIRCH RIDGE DR, BUILDING BRiver Basin(s): City/Town:0.5Typical Cross Section Description: Surrounding Land Use: General Project Narrative:(Description of Minimization of Water Quality Impacts)NoRURAL,AGRICULTURE, WOODSHAW BRANCH27-86-3-70.50.08 MILESProject DescriptionProposed ProjectTar-PamlicoSupplemental Classification: Nutrient Sensitive Waters (NSW)Wetlands within Project Limits?
