REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Fuller,
The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has reviewed the additional information submitted in regard to the
subject project. Based on this review, the following information/comments are still needed:
o The conceptual plan you provided shows greater than 24 percent impervious surface at the site.
Condition 12 of Water Quality Certification (WQC) No. 3704 requires that applicants provide a.
Stormwater Management Plan (SMP) for any project that requires this 401 Water Quality
Certification and contains one or more drainage areas that are anticipated to have impervious
surface cover of equal to or greater than 24 percent. Please include an SMP that removes a
minimum of 85 percent TSS from the stormwater generated by this project. For each proposed
BMP, please provide a completed BMP Supplement Form, with all the required items. The BMP
Supplement Forms are available at the following web site:

o The stormwater management plan must
include the following:
. A depiction of the drainage areas on the site.
b. An estimation of the percentage imperviousness associated with each of the drainage areas.
c. A calculation of the water quality volume associated with each drainage area.
d. A depiction of a proposed BMP (state the type of BMP you plan to use) on the site plan that is
correctly sized based on the water quality volume.

information has been received. If the requested information is not provided by February 23, 2008, the project
will be considered withdrawn. Please respond providing the required information to the Division of Water
Quality, 401/Wetlands Unit, 1650 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1650. If you are not able to provide
the requested information within this timeframe, you may withdraw the application and reapply at a later date.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or
protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested in your application are not authorized at this time
