Weatherspoon Power Plant Dear Mr. White: As discussed on October 25, 2016 and subsequent meetings between NCDEQ, Duke Energy, and Duke Energy consultants, evaluations have been performed on site -specific bases to recommend groundwater and soil data for use in calculating site -specific groundwater and soil background values. Attached you will find tech memos and evaluation tables produced by SynTera Corporation summarizing the groundwater and soil datasets recommended for use in calculating respective background values at the W.H. Weatherspoon Power Plant.
