Our comments are as follows: • Your letter refers to the site being in the fourth year of monitoring, but we have completed our final fifth year of monitoring. • We have spoken with Eric Kulz regarding the 320 trees per acre at maturity. Vegetation plot H2 does not meet the 320 trees per acre and we will be planting 5- year-old containerized trees. We will meet the vegetative success criteria for the entire site after the supplemental planting. • Survival data for each species in the vegetation monitoring plots was provided. The information is provided in the report (Table 2.2008 Vegetation Monitoring Plot Species Composition). Tables 2 when used in conjunction with Table 1 - Tree Species Planted in 2004 provides the data requested. If this is not a sufficient format for this data, we can provide a new Table. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments. Sincerely, Norton Webster Project Manager cc: Guy Pearce-NCEEP Thom Rinker Ely Perry
