DCM completed their public notice on this project and it is currently in the circulation
process. Greg said he has the COE and DWR on the circulation list, so you all should be
receiving his information soon. I have copied Greg, so he can provide any additional
information that you may need for your coordination effort with DCM.

Clay,
I have reviewed the information that you submitted for the Ocracoke Passenger Ferry
Dock and the request to issue under the PGP 198000291 (291). I agree that that permit
would fit this project but it runs with the CAMA Major Permit. I think we need to
coordinate with Greg and Cathy to make sure our timelines and procedures mesh.
This project is in Section 10 Waters and luckily outside of the Federal Channel setback
according the Corps Navigation information.
Due to the specifics of the PGP 291 process I cannot accept the PCN application as a
submittal for this project. As I said earlier we need to talk and coordinate with Greg and
Cathy to keep this on track and make sure they send me a copy when the CAMA Major
is circulated. You may already have it but I have attached a link to the PGP 291 for you
to read through the conditions.
