The proposed project will consist of removing two 72 inch corrugated metal pipe culverts that are in poor condition with eroding stream banks, grading of the stream banks to a 2:1 slope, installation of non-woven filter fabric and rip rap on the stream banks, and then installing a steel bridge across the creek. Enclosed are 7 copies of the following items associated with this PCN: ¦ Engineering Form 4345 ¦ Plan & Section - Erosion at Double 72" Culverts ¦ Plan & Section - Stream bank Stabilization at Proposed Bridge ¦ Vicinity Map ¦ Check in the amount of $240 The area to be impacted is approximately 60 linear feet of stream bank which will be excavated to a 2:1 slope and stabilized with rip rap. No work shall be done to the stream channel bottom except where the culverts are removed. The existing culverts are approximately 20 feet in length, and earth/stone backfill between and beside the culverts will be removed as part of the proposed work.
