Chuck said he will work on those issues and that the next submittal will reflect this work. I think you will wind up with a water feature that will be more attractive and a BMP that will work better too. I looked over the design and have a couple of design questions for you Chuck. Tomorrow is a state holiday - I will give you a call on Wed. to discuss. We would like to bounce the idea off you to get any concerns prior to proceeding. The pond will be redesigned to serve as a forebay and to hold the water quality volume only. The sand filter will be located under the parking lot. The bottom of the sand filter will be a minimum of 2 feet above the SHWT. A series of perforated pipes will 'feed' and 'drain' the sand filter. The pond will be re-contoured and all vegetation except grass will be removed. No vegetative shelf or rock weir. Larger trees around the pond will remain as dictated by Town Ordinance. The pond will remain lined with PVC to retain water per agreement with the Town. The bottom of the pond and the PVC liner will be raised above the SHWT. The pond will act as a forebay and will have additional storage to capture the water water quality volume until it has time to drain through the sand filter.
