Note: I was late, had wrong point, was in an old email...
Missed the first couple of reaches, some discussion about jurisdiction up top, caught up with group at beginning of R4,
at that point stream was in buffer, however, the channel was incised and moving some laterally. While there was some
bedform and woody debris, the reaches (R4 and R5) were ok with the restoration approach. Don't recall (filling out
notes September 25th...) two small tribs R4A and B, must have been ok with approach.
Then walked to next trib, R1, no issue with approach, minimal buffer, lots of hoof shear, some incision and some lateral
movement.
In general, good to see a project where the approach is warranted.
