Due to pipe availability with bridge maintenance, this pipe will be replaced with a 60” X
46” X 50’ CAP instead of the previously proposed 54" X 50' CAP. This size was an
alternate suggestion from the NCDOT Hydraulics Unit, and still increases the hydraulic
conveyance for the pipe replacement.

This is a courtesy notification that NCDOT will be replacing a pipe in a jurisdictional area
in Washington County under Nationwide Permit 3 conditions. Location is on a UT to
Conaby Creek, Stream Index No. 23-56, Roanoke River Basin. The dewatering operation
will have a temporary stream impact of 30 linear feet.

Existing 30" X 44' RCP will be replaced by a 54" X 50' CAP at N 35.908722° W
76.663457°.
