The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources' Stormwater Permitting Program received a
copy of your renewal application for coverage under NPDES Wastewater Permit Number NC0004944.
The Division will be writing separate permits for stormwater and wastewater. So, this facility will also
need to apply for a separate NPDES Stormwater Permit. Please submit the Stormwater Permit
Application Fee of $860.00 so that we can begin the stormwater permit process for this facility.
We apologize for the lengthy delay in responding to your original submittal; and are now making
every effort to review your permit as expeditiously as possible. Our staff anticipates making significant
progress on individual permits over the next six months to reduce our backlog.
Please continue to comply with all conditions and monitoring requirements in your expired
NPDES stormwater permit. As long as you have submitted a complete renewal request package and
maintain compliance with those permit conditions, stormwater discharges from this facility are authorized
by that permit until the Division issues a renewal permit or notifies you of an alternative action.
