Based on the report, it appears that the mitigation required in Condition 6 of the 401 Certification dated January 10, 2006 has been implemented. We support the replacement of hurricane-damaged trees in the mitigation wetlands, and look forward to seeing both vegetation and hydrology monitoring results in next year's report. If you have any questions related to our comments or this mitigation project, please feel free to contact Tammy Hill at (919) 715-9052 or Tammy.L.Hill@ncmail.net. Sinrncerely, j la Cyndi B.
