Proposed Biological Study Plan for 2006
File: 12520M
Dear Mr. Overton:
Enclosed is the biological monitoring study plan that Progress Energy proposes to conduct at the Mayo
Electric Generating Plant (NC0038377) in 2006. The proposed studies are required by NPDES permit to be
reviewed and approved for implementation by the Division of Water Quality. As discussed with Ms. Trish
MacPherson, Biological Assessment Unit of DWQ, no changes are proposed for the 2006 biological
monitoring study plan from the studies conducted in 2005.
Progress Energy appreciates your review and acceptance of these proposed studies for satisfying the permit
requirements for biological studies at Mayo Reservoir.
Please contact Mr. Reid Garrett at (919) 546-5434 if we can provide further information.
