The proposed studies are required by NPDES permit to be reviewed and approved for implementation by the Division of Water Quality. As discussed with Ms. Trish MacPherson, Biological Assessment Unit of DWQ, no changes are proposed for the 2006 biological monitoring study plan from the studies conducted in 2005. Progress Energy appreciates your review and acceptance of these proposed studies for satisfying the permit requirements for biological studies at Mayo Reservoir. Please contact Mr. Reid Garrett at (919) 546-5434 if we can provide further information.
