Thank you for meeting with us on March 10, 2008 to discuss the proposed
Contentnea/Little Contentnea Creek Riparian Buffer Restoration Bank (CLCBB). As we
evaluate our options to move forward with this important project, we respectfully request
that you provide us with all statutes, regulations, and policies pertaining to service area
and buffer width as discussed in our meeting. Specifically, please provide the statutes,
regulations, and policies that support the following: 1) limiting the service area to
Cataloging Unit 03020203 of the Neuse River Basin and 2) limiting the width of the
restored buffer to fifty (50) feet.
Thanks again for your time; we look forward to resolving these issues in a manner that is
satisfactory to all parties and contributes to the goal of reducing nitrogen loading within
the Neuse River Basin.
