Time Line for Gnanasekaran/Walters Property in Hampstead, Pender

1. I was sent a draft Corps Notice of Violation on April l0, 2007
2. Tom Farrell and Brad Shaver met with Terry Walters on April 9,
2007
at the Corps Office and Ms. Walters stated that she was taking action
to
resolve this matter by restoring the site.
3. NOV from DWQ April 18, 2007 (filling wetlands without permit &
wetland standard violation)
4. Letter from Terry Walters citing that she was "solely esponsible
for
hiring Mr. Whitehead (contractor) to fill the lot with di t." Letter
cc'd to Wetland Stormwater Branch.
5. Letter from Billy Whitehead (contractor) citing that the owner and
Ms. Walters were the responsible party. Copy of contract included
that
specifically states that "All environmental permits and permission to
dump in the area is the responsibility of Terry Walters." (Signed
April
2, 2007 by Ms. Walters)
6.Corps sends out NOV May 21, 2007
7. Letter from SEGi (dated May 22, 2007) stating that the had been
contacted by Mr. Gnanasekaran and Ms. Walters to investig to the
wetland boundary and potential of permitting fill.
8. Corps with EPA make a No Significant Nexus determination for the
wetlands on site July 6, 2007)
9 August 20, 2007 Corps letter to Mr. Gnanasekaran stati*g that the
project was no longer a violation of Section 404 of the C can Water
act
33 U.S.C 1344.
10. Application received in region 3/19/08
