The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) 401 Oversight and Express Review Permitting Unit has reviewed
the 2008 vegetation monitoring results for the above-referenced site. Based on those results and
observations made at our site visit earlier this year, our expectations for continued monitoring to ensure
tree survival have been met. We also appreciate the efforts being taken by Mayfaire security to prevent
damage to the mitigation areas due to unauthorized use. The Mayfaire On-site Mitigation Project is
released from further monitoring. The long-term protection mechanisms included in the approved
Mitigation Plan will remain in effect in perpetuity.
