The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has reviewed the additional information (Stormwater Management Plan
(SMP) dated November 17, 2008) received on November 18, 2008 from your engineers Mr. Matt Edwards, PE
and Ms. Beverly Rosenbloom, El, both of Kimley-Horn Associates, Inc. The DWQ has determined that your
application will require more information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to
review your project and prevent return of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506:
Additional Information Requested
1. Please complete and submit Section VI of the Stormwater Management Application Form.

volume (below permanent pool elevation) is within 18 - 22% of the total permanent pool volume.
b. Please provide a forebay spillway reinforced with riprap at the permanent pool elevation in each
pond. The spillway length (weir) and the riprap shall be designed for the 10-year storm. Please

c. Please specify the orifice sizes to be drilled in the cap on the 4-inch PVC pipe in the figure detailing
the submerged orifice outlet configuration.
d. Please call out the compacted clayey soil in the plan views of the ponds on sheet C-6, and use a thick

Please respond within five (5) days of the date of this letter by sending two (2) copies of the above information in
writing. Please submit only revised information (both calculations as well as plans). The Express Review
Program is a process that requires all parties to participate in a timely manner. This letter only addresses the
